 Hi all, and welcome (finally!) to Amazing Rates. The site has been up for a while now, but this is the first chance I have had to really make any sort of announcement. Sorry!
Well, there is so much for you to explore! There are a huge range of options for searching, comparing and safely booking flights, accommodation, tours, activities, car hire, insurance and so much more. Literally thousands upon thousands of options available for you. We only use highly recognised and accredited industry suppliers, so your transactions are assured to be safe and secure.
We are also working on our corporate website for The Travel Around Company, which will also have a range of online booking options, as well as links for traditional travel agent services, industry news, hot travel deals, eBay auctions, and we are toying with the the concept of a registered member area for sharing travel photos, movies and stories in an online community. Stay tuned.
Lastly, we will shortly be launching our own travel auctions on eBay! We are currently in the process of approaching a number of suppliers (accommodation & tour operators), and should be in a position to commence our auction series within the next couple of weeks. Details will be announced in our Auction page, in the magazine, and on MySpace. Stay tuned!

Just a quick update on how the site is coming along. In fact I am very excited at how it is all coming together!
There is still a fair way to go, but we now have facilities for you to be able to search, compare and book flights with all Australia's major domestic airlines (and a few minor ones as well); book search and compare some of the best fares around for international travel; access to discounted rates at over 20,000 hotels, resorts and other accommodation worldwide; access to a huge range of heavily discounted last minute accommodation rates worldwide; search compare and book discounted rates for car hire worldwide; access to over 4,500 different options for worldwide tours, transfers, sightseeing and activities; an exciting range of adrenaline pumping aussie activities, tours and sightseeing; compare, book and save with a great range of travel insurance options at amazing online rates, plus there's even more on the way!
So, stay tuned...
We hope to have everything together to officially "launch" the site by the end of August, but just remember that if you see it on the site, you can safely and securely book it (but keep exploring as more and more stuff is being added almost daily!).
Anyhow, will give more of an update as we get closer to site launch.
