registered travel agent. We are a
registered Australian company, and abide
by all Australian Corporation &
applicable business laws to make sure we
comply with all the rules and regulations
pertaining to our business
operations.
All the
product featured on the Amazing Rates
website is provided on the site directly
by trusted and secure travel industry
operators. We play no part in the
financial transaction, hence the
requirement for us to have a travel agent
licence is negated. Having said that, we
take great care in choosing our online
suppliers to ensure the highest standard
of quality and security in your online
travel experience.

It's an online magazine available every 6
weeks via a downline link, and contains a
range of useful and interesting
information, travel articles, exclusive
deals, competitions and more. Available as
a .pdf file, we have tried to steer away
from adding more "junk" your inbox by
sending you a simple email notification
and download link to get your magazine.
Download it, print it out, read it on the
way to work, pass it to your friends, or
just take the time to enjoy.
We will
also keep you up todate with the latest
deals, news and specials as they
happen.
Besides,
there are great

When making a reservation on Amazing
Rates, your details are safely and
securely held with the provider of the
travel service being booked. Amazing Rates
has no access to the financial or personal
details of your transaction. All of our
service providers operate safe and secure
sites for processing payment of your
online reservation, however, if you are
not comfortable with providing your credit
card details online, many operators will
provide details for you to advise payment
details "offline".

Who
holds my money when I make a
booking?
|
Amazing Rates plays no part in the
financial transaction when you make a
reservation. When a booking is made and
your credit card is charged, the details
and financial transaction is undertaken
between yourself and the provider of the
service you are booking (including Webjet,
HotelClub, Stella Resorts, Kumuka
Worldwide, Viator, Hostelworld, Red
Balloon Days, WebCar Hire, Discovery
Campervans, Res Online and Travelocity).

I
want to book accommodation, but
want to request a particular room
- is this
possible?
|
Requests for particular rooms, high
floors, air conditioning or other requests
can generally be noted when you make your
reservation. However, whilst the operator
will endeavour to accommodate such
requests, in most cases they cannot be
guaranteed.

I
have booked online, but I don't
think it has been confirmed. What
do I do?
|
In many cases, a reservation may be on
"request", and you will need to wait for
an answer (confirmed or otherwise). What
this means is that the reservation is not
confirmed, but has been requested to see
if there is availability for the dats(s)
you are after. Sometimes, this process can
take up to 24-48 hours before an answer is
provided and you receive confirmation. If
you are booking for a busy period, it may
be advisable to first search for a service
you can confirm online immediately.
Please note that generally your credit
card is not charged until a reservation
has been confirmed.

Can
I book using my Frequent Flyer
points?
|
No, Amazing Rates has no facility for
you to book online using your frequent
flyer points. However, you are able to
earn frequent flyer points on some
transactions.

Can
I make changes to my
reservation?
|
Amendments to a reservation are
generally possible, however you may be
subject to cancellation or amendment fees
in doing so. This is especially applicable
to flight reservations, where cheap fares
can incur heavy penalties for making
changes after confirming your reservation.
Please make sure to check the terms and
conditions relating to the travel service
you are requesting before confirming your
reservation.
In most
cases, your documentation (confirmation
email) will provide details and/or links
to enable you to view, amend or cancel
your reservation.

I
need help with my booking - who
do I contact?
|
The majority of our providers have
their own FAQ and contact page in the
reservation area where you can fin answers
to the most commonly asked questions.
However Amazing Rates does provide a Help
page where you can contact us with any
issues or problems that may arise with the
site or with your reservation. Should you
wish to contact us, please make sure to
include as much detail as possible - your
name & contact details, what you are
booking, which dates, reservation numbers
etc. That way we can effectively follow up
any issues directly with the provider of
the service you are booking.

What
happens if I cancel my
reservation?
|
Terms and Conditions relating to
cancellation of travel plans very, however
in some cases cancellation fees may apply
and any refund due to you may be reduced.
In some cases, articularly with cheap
flights, a refund may not be possible at
all. Check the documentation you received
when you confirmed your reservation, or
more importantly, check and be familiar
with the cancellation and amendment
conditions before confirming your
reservation.

I
have made a booking to travel
overseas - is travel insurance
really
necessary?
|
Travel
Insurance
is recommended for anyone travelling
overseas (or even domestically). The
reasons are many and varied, however
Travel Insurance will generally cover you
against cancellation fees, medical
expenses, lost / stolen items, legal
liability and much more. When travelling
overseas, you are not covered by Medicare
or Private Health Insurance, so more than
anything, travel insurance should be
undertaken for peace of mind and medical
security whilst away. The Australian
Department of Foreign Affairs &
Trade
also makes some strong
recommendations
regarding the purchase of appropriate
travel insurance. More details on why we
